Kaya was the purple puppy from Shogun and Mikaela’s first litter, which makes it my first litter also.
Kaya and her brother Chip (green boy -- GCH White Spirit’s Aurora Blue Chip -- owned by Jenifer and Gary Arnold, Aurora Samoyeds in Anchorage, AK) were the pick of the litter and hold a very special place in my heart. Chip was the first champion bearing the White Spirit kennel name. Chip is a regular Best Of Breed winner, and has placed in the group.
Kaya followed closely after him, finishing her championship within weeks of Chip. Kaya went to her first dog show the day she turned seven months old, March 28 2006, and won a three point major. Kaya attended the 2006 Samoyed Club Of America National Specialty in Post Falls, ID. Under judge Robert Gloster, she placed third in the 9-12 month puppy class. She possesses elegance and carries herself like the princess she is! She has wonderful structure, beautiful side-gait, and reach and drive that she inherited from her parents.
Kaya had a beautiful litter of seven puppies (4 girls and 3 boys) on May 10, 2010. The litter was sired by BIS BISS GCH Winterset’s Naughty Knight, owned by Marcia Sandusky.
Two puppies from that litter were shown in the conformation ring, White Spirit’s Sky Dragon (blue boy) and White Spirit’s Grand Duchess Natasha (purple girl). Tasha is also working in Agility.
